Without access to WIFI does listening to I Heart Radio consume a lot of data?

I believe iHeart Radio uses 128 kbps encodings. So playing for one hour would consume about 60 megabytes. Playing for about 17 hours would consume a gigabyte.

My wife listens to Rhapsody when she goes walking/jogging (4-5 times a week/30-45 minutes per), and her data usage at the end of the month is around 2-3 gig. I, on the other hand, stream music only on wifi, and my data usage is usually around 300k.
