I think you are imagining this.
It’s the one on the left in the middle distance. The one almost clear of snow and ice. The climbers are coming up the south side (which most do) and that makes the North Face the left side.
Once I found those tiny specks of humanity, I scrolled and zoomed all the way up to the top of Everest. Holy. Shit. That’s a fucking massive lump of rock. :eek:
If you start from looking at Base Camp and scroll to the right so you’re looking down the valley you can see two groups of blue-roofed permanent structures.
- I didn’t know there were any permanent structures at base camp.
- How in the hell did they haul in the materials to build those?
