I’m guilty of a number of these 
. For example I say to be honest or frankly a lot. It’s completely unconscious so I’ve had a hard time breaking myself of the habit, even though it does very mildly irk a couple of friends of mine.
My current aggravation is right here in this thread title. My problem is that logical or not I’ve internalized the use of the archaic word cuck as being 100% owned by shitty-ass incels. I’m pretty sure that is not the intention of that OP, but it still irrationally annoys me every time I see that thread pop back up. Because I associate any use of it with shitty-ass incels.
I sorta wish people that either just use the entire word cuckold, old fashioned though it is or just avoid using the term altogether. I think it is kinda of a pathetic insult anyway, implying that a man is somehow lesser or weak because his partner is cheating on him. It hearkens back to old toxic concepts of masculinity.
But mostly because it reminds me of shitheel incels and MRA whackadoos.
