Am hoping for some quick help here. I haven’t accessed/modified my Picasa Web Albums in a while and the interface has changed. I’ve uploaded pictures to a new album but its security is set to Private. I want to change this to Public, and Help and searches tell me that function is accessed from the Actions button. Trouble is, I don’t see any Actions button. WTF is it? (Yes, I’m frustrated. And hostile.) I tried a search (_ **site:boards.straightdope.com actions button picasa web** _) but didn’t see this discussed yet - maybe it’s there and I didn’t get to it. Bottom line; I want to change a new album’s security setting from Private to Public. How do I do that? Thanks! ---

In case it helps, here are the menu options that I see. The URL starts with [https://plus.google.com/photos](https://plus.google.com/photos)… L-to-R across the top: +(my\_name); Search; Images; Maps; Play; YouTube; News; Gmail; Drive; Calendar; More (Translate; Mobile; Books; Offers; Wallet; Shopping; Blogger; Finance; Photos; Videos; Even more Near the top, but lower; L-to-R across: What’s New; Highlights; Photos; Albums; More (Auto Backup; From posts; Photos of you; Trash); Upload photos It is in that last row that I think I’d see Actions, but it’s not there. I haven’t moved to Google+, but in my interface, to change privacy, on the sidebar on the right, there’s the album description and the privacy setting and (edit). Does yours have that as well? ---

No, there’s no sidebar. There’s only the listing of my albums. ---

Neither there. I’m searching help for Google+ and that is getting me closer. I had been searching for help with Picasa Web Albums, and getting nowhere. ---

From your “Home” page in Picasa, you can see all your albums. At the bottom of each album, there will be a globe, with perhaps a padlock over it. if you click on the album title or key photo, it opens the album. Along the top of the new page are buttons and drop down menus; Slideshow, Share, Add Photos, Prints, Actions, Organize.
