For wedding favors, we want some suitable Bible verse to be imprinted on various favors (hand fans at the wedding, take-away containers for the reception). Of course 1 13 COR gives us **Love Never Fails** , which is good but obvious. Any clever thoughts? ---

Iā€™ve seen weddings use Ruth 1:16: ā€œWhere you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.ā€ Itā€™s kind of taken out of context, though, because it is spoken by a widow to her mother-in-law. But itā€™s still a beautiful statement and appropriate for the setting. ---

Matthew 7:24-25 ā€œTherefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.ā€ I just think itā€™s a good sentiment for a strong marriage.
