This should be rather easy. For example:
A. Sandy Koufax, Steve Carlton, Yogi Berra, Randy Johnson
Berra–not a pitcher.
B. Pete Wilson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Kuchel, Jerry Brown
Kuchel–never a governor of California.

1. George Sand, Georges Bizet, Georges Clemenceau, George Washington
2. _Catcher in the Rye, Of Mice and Men, Tortilla Flat, Grapes of Wrath_
3. Argentina, Equatorial Guinea, Haiti, Mexico
4. _12 Angry Men, E.T., Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Jaws_
5. Pork chop, hamburger, sausage, bacon
6. daisies, florins, buttercups, dahlias
7. Douglas Edwards, Tom Brokaw, Westbrook Pegler, John Chancellor
8. sideline marker, face guard, rosin bag, whistle
9. panther, mamba snake, crow, bullfrog
10. Indianapolis, Baltimore, San Diego, St. Louis

1. George Sand is female

3. Equitorial Guinea. In the Eastern hemisphere
4. Hamburger. Beef, not pork.

#9: The panther, bullfrog, and mamba have all been chosen, I say the crow because it’s the only one that is not exclusively carnivorous/predatory. So _all four_ animals don’t belong.

1. Yes, the bullfrog is the odd one out; the others are (usually) black. : )
2. George Washington was not French.
3. The people of Haiti don’t speak Spanish.

1. Babe Ruth, Stan Musial, Mickey Mantle, Mark McGwire.

Musial - never broke 60 HRs in a season

1. John Mitchell, John Dean, John Sirica, Charles Colson (and it’s not the name! )

One of them didn’t go to law school, but I don’t know which one

1. “Two Little Pups,” “Duck! Rabbit! Duck!,” “Feed the Kitty,” “Duck Dodgers in the 24 1/2th Century”

“Two Little Pups” did not feature Daffy (it may not even have been WB)

1. Basenji, Abyssinian, Lhasa Apso, Puli

a Puli isn’t a dog (?)

1. Rabindranath Tagore, Jean-Paul Sartre, Knut Hamsun, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

heh? que? quoi? wha?

1. Ishmael, Queequeeg, Molly, Father Mapple

Molly isn’t a character in Moby Dick

metals of sorts, i think, but I don’t know which one is different

1. Diadem, fedora, peplum, bowle

peplum is a fabric but not a style of hat
of the first 10, did i get the other 6 right?

I didn’t look at anyone else’s answers –
This was pretty difficult. I’m still not happy with my answers for #6 and #8.

1. George Sand, Georges Bizet, Georges Clemenceau, George Washington

Sand - not male
Bizet - not involved in politics
Washington - not French

Answer : **Clemenceau**

1. Catcher in the Rye, Of Mice and Men, Tortilla Flat, Grapes of Wrath

Catcher - not by John Steinbeck
Of Mice and Men - doesn’t contain food in the title
Tortilla Flat - title not from a poem

Answer : \*\*Grapes of Wrath \*\*

1. Argentina, Equatorial Guinea, Haiti, Mexico

Argentina - not in the Northern Hemisphere
Equatorial Guinea - not in the Western Hemisphere
Haiti - did not gain independence from Spain

Answer : **Mexico**
4. 12 Angry Men, E.T., Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Jaws

12 Angry Men - movie version not rated PG
Temple of Doom - not set in the period in which it was filmed
Jaws - not originally a dramatic work

Answer : **E.T.**

1. Pork chop, hamburger, sausage, bacon

Pork chop - not sold as a meatless product
hamburger - not made from a magical, wonderful animal (aka pig)
bacon - not available from freshly butchered animals

Answer : **sausage**

1. daisies, florins, buttercups, dahlias

florin - not the name of a flower
buttercup - no association with death (um … Black Dahlia, coins on the eyes?)
dahlia - not used in movie The Princess Bride (I think she wears daisies in one of the ‘wedding’ scenes) (or, not native to Europe)

Answer : daisy

1. Douglas Edwards, Tom Brokaw, Westbrook Pegler, John Chancellor

Edwards - not raised in the Midwest
Brokaw - not deceased
Pegler - not a televison journalist

Answer: \*\*John Chancellor \*\*

sideline marker - not worn/carried on the body
face guard - provided by the player/team (rosin bag might fit in some sports, though)
rosin bag - not normally part of Am. Football

Answer : whistle
9. panther, mamba snake, crow, bullfrog

mamba snake - not native to North America
crow - (adult animals) not solely carnivorous
bullfrog - not the title of a movie (though “Mamba” on its own and _The_ Crow are a little off)

Answer: **panther**

1. Indianapolis, Baltimore, San Diego, St. Louis

Indianapolis - not named after an individual
San Diego - not east of the Continental Divide
St. Louis - not located near a large body of water

Not metals. Trapezius is the odd one–it’s a muscle, while the other three are the bones in the ear.
