These are great! The closest story I have happened just last week. I had been sleeping snuggled up to my husband, one arm over his chest and just on the verge of consciousness when my nosed itched. Guess whose nose got scratched! 😛 ---

My first post!!! So many of these sound familiar! I’ve been told by friends and family about my episodes of sleep talking. I used to frequently get up in the middle of the night and start getting ready for school. I would be in the shower around 2 am when my mom would come in and want to know what I was doing!! Most recently I apparently woke up my new husband like this: MrsMonkey: “We need one of those…” MrMonkey: “What?” MrsMonkey: “One of those things, with doors on it!” MrMonkey: “What are you talking about? Are you asleep?”… Keeps trying to get me to explain as he likes having fun with it. MrsMonkey: “Well, apparently I can’t explain it to you so you can understand, so forget it!” Oddly enough, I woke up with a vague memory of being angry about something! 🙂 ---

My girlfriend often mutters in her sleep - ie it’s hard to hear what she’s saying clearly, and I don’t think we’ve ever had a full conversation. Unfortunately, however, I’m always half asleep when it happens - so I think “ha ha, that’s amusing, must remember to tell her about it in the morning” and forget what it was she said. My sister used to make walking actions while asleep - she’d stay in the bed, but her legs would move. There was one time as well where apparently she was dreaming she was a dolphin, and woke herself up trying to jump like they do at Seaworld - landed on her face (fortunately still on the bed!).
