I was concerned some nut wanted to recreate 9/11 with a smaller plane packed with extra fuel.
Then he wouldn’t have given the authorities a head’s up.
Calling the authorities seems to me like a cry for help. I hope he gets it.
Naw, the wake from a fighter would be enough to get the pilot’s attention. Also, any airplane shot down is going to land on something, and that can mean destruction of property or people on the ground getting hurt or killed.
Even if it does, the pilot flying the airplane is responsible for any damaged caused by their landing. So if the insurance pays out the insurance company will go after the pilot. If insurance doesn’t cover it the farmer can go after the pilot.
There’s something messed up about this. Just glad no one got hurt.
The “pilot” is clearly deranged. If were sane, he would have threatened to crash into Target.
