Tragic, sad, and really [ironic](http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/story?section=traffic&id=5695854). Captain Paul Smith, a helicopter pilot for NYC’s Channel 7 Eyewitness News was killed by a runaway taxi cab while standing on the sidewalk.
