It was like he had a sort of formula, so he always got it right. Part of the formula was always buying the pink version for women. It was really funny, and really sweet. Anything _pink_ owned by anyone in our family was obviously a gift from our Opa. He would decide I needed a warm dressing gown: good call, I did. He would go to his go-to department store, the only shop he knew beside bookshops, and he would ask them to bring him a soft, warm, pink dressing gown. There, gift done. My sweet Opa! He got me a fantastic pink luggage set. I get made fun of for it, but I don’t care. It was a present from my Opa. 🙂 ---

I’m female and I would have returned the pink Otterbox. I mostly detest pink, especially the cutesy bubblegum/Pepto pink shades. ‘Salmon’ or ‘melon’ I might tolerate, in clothes, sparingly. I can not tell you how much it aggravates me that to market something to women, they slap pink on it somewhere. [/RO] ---

I once knew a mechanic that got so pissed off about the other workers borrowing his tools and losing or just not returning them that one weekend he took them all home and painted them pink. After that, the people who would still borrow them never failed to return them. ---

Pink is not an unusual color for men’s dress shirts. Looks sharp with a burgundy tie. ---
