Why pipers should be careful walking over grates: [pipers and grates and breezes, oh my!](http://img176.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pipersvr1.png) Some of the posters over on a bagpipe forum have identified the band - Hamilton County Sheriff’s band out of Cincinnati, Ohio. So far, no one has identified any of the individual pipers. ---

Note that although scots did not wear what we’d call underwear under the kilt, they weren’t “free-balling it” either (thanx Boyo). They wore a shirt with very long tails that were tucked up in a sort of breech-clout. ---

The Irish gave the Scots the bagpipes a thousand years ago. And the Scots never caught on. Dear God: Please, the next time someone starts using the bagpipes to insult _Amazing Grace_, could you please strike him dead? Thank you, that would be nice. ---
