He’s not among the cursed because he wasn’t with the pirates when they took the cursed gold, having been abandoned on that tiny island. He’s only cursed, temporarily, when he steals some of the gold later on. ---

Not true. I only just saw it last month, myself. Not everyone sees a movie within a year or two of its release. ---

Considering you were wrong in your assumption anyway, it’s not a spoiler. Frankly I’d prefer it if you had said “Pirates of the Caribbean question _spoilers!_” in the title, and not needed the spoiler boxes in the first place. ---

Yeah well, I got a better question. As Turner’s father _was_ amoung the cursed, unlike Jack Sparrow, how come he was able to die? ---

He was probably strapped to the cannon all those years in the Marians Trench - sorry. I mean in the ocean. And couldn’t untie himself because no key/fingers swollen/whatever. And died when the curse was removed. Aes, even my fave actors I probably haven’t seen more than 10 of their movies. I just meant Johnny Depp was quite cool in **Pirates**. ---
