OK, I give up. I tried, like four times, to add enough stuff at the front so that the spoiler wouldn’t show up in the mouse-over, and nothin’ helped. I’ll investigate further to see what can be done, but the moral of the story seems to be: make an initial post that’s harmless, then have your second post include the spoiler stuff. Meanwhile, I’ll also change the thread title. ---

FWIW, **C K Dexter Haven** , whatever you did with the "… … …"s semed to work. I moused over earlier, and the spoiler wasn’t revealed. So, to avoid confusion on my end going forward, “open spoilers” in the thread title means I include the spoiler box, and “spoilers” means I do not? ---

Although it is a speculation and not a spoiler I am still boxing this. [spoiler]I think that Bootstrap Bill had plenty of time to drag that damn cannon anywhere he felt like going. I mean, if magwitch can swim from a prison ship wearing chains, how hard could it be for a zombie to drag a cannon along the sea bed.[/spoiler] ---

Wouldn’t “open spoilers” be spoilers that are, y’know, out in the open? As in not in boxes? I hardly think speculation as to actors who might play certain characters would be so amazingly spoilerish that they’d need boxes anyway. ---
