# Pit moderation on weekends

It might just be my imagination, but I don’t recall seeing a lot of moderation in the Pit on weekends–more particularly, on Saturdays–for a few months. Might be worth looking into signing on another mod; two isn’t enough for the Pit anyway, or at least it didn’t used to be.
The last straw for this thread was a [copyright violation](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=13138868&postcount=59)that I cannot imagine I was the only one reporting it.
While I certainly understand that mods cannot be everywhere at all times, the Pit, of all places, could certainly stand to have a mod available within the 36-hour period from Friday evening to Sunday morning.

Sorry. It’s true, I’ve been busy for a while because of some job-reltated issues. I’ve actually resolved those issues now, and had planned on spending some time today in the Pit, but my computer crashed. I’m working on fixing that, and only just now had a chance to look in.

Fair enough, and that’s, in general, why there should be another mod available. I just don’t think that two mods are sufficient for the Pit.

That’s since been mod-trimmed - but what a hell of a username/post match!
