It’s fine to think that–again, such reputations are not meaningful here. But I did not make up that I was in the armed forces for a full-length career. I would not lie about like something like that, because just knowing the broad outline is not personally identifying–and I think that would also be a form of trolling / etc which I don’t do. ---

And he got his deep knowledge of teachers’ intellectual and moral shortcomings from serving on the Gloucestershire County Council in 1969-77. He just made up the bit about a school board in Virginia to avoid being doxxed. ---

You haven’t hit the threshold yet, I generally ignore someone when they are not entertaining or for a few other specific reasons. FWIW I have ASL on ignore because he posted some days ago before all of this that he had me on ignore, and as routine if I know someone has me on ignore, I also put them on ignore. No reason to see posts from someone to whom you cannot respond. ---
