Oh, yes, very definitely both. The gun nut part is obvious from his posts in this thread (and username and previous avatar), As for the other - [always](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/is-it-time-to-seriously-consider-colonialism-again/359130) [has](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/un-pc-beliefs/555823/17) [been](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/the-golden-age-of-the-west/533575/109) a completely out-and-proud [colonialism](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/maybe-post-colonial-african-countries-should-not-have-handed-over-power-so-quickly/521796) fan. Which is one reason why I have no time for the little koala-fucker (they have to be getting that chlamydia from _somewhere_!) That and his transphobia - disguised as an objection to indicating preferred pronouns but made obvious by his preferred terminology of “weird”.
