Maybe so but they’re kind of rare. Not swarming all over the planet with no visible prey.

I thought the movie made for GREAT eye candy. Fun to watch.

The holes in the plot didn’t bother me too much (compared to something like Mission to Mars). Some parts, like the entire planet going into darkness because of the planet getting in the way, was a bit of a reach.

The critters on the planet, while unlikely, COULD happen I suppose. I always figured they only had a few month feeding time (on each other) before going back in the holes for another **X** amount of years.

Remember the model of the solar system they had, with a little ticker that counted up once for every year that went by?

That was so dumb.
