I watched the first movie with a lady friend of mine on DVD and really enjoyed it. We went and saw the sequel last night. This is some really nice entertainment! I enjoyed the music and subtle mix of irony with sincerity. The characters are entertainingly drawn, and the plot riffs on cliches while still maintaining interest. I think this movie is a worthy accompaniment to the first and is just about the same in quality and entertainment value. The theater we went to was fairly packed. I’m a 43-year-old dude, and the theater was mostly (to my mild surprise) teen girls. Oh, sure, it’s a chick flick (and I’m a guy who digs chick flicks), but I hadn’t known that the demo skewed so young. In any case, peeps were into it. Anyone else see it, and what did you think? ---

I’m disappointed that Pentatonix didn’t get a name check. Come on, they’re the biggest real life a capella group in the world. Plus they were playing Canadian characters. But it was fun, I love Rebel Wilson, I don’t know Flula Borg from YouTube, but I may have to start watching his channel, and I don’t know Andrew Fitzpatrick from Vine, but his beat boxing was good. Why was Robin Roberts there? ---

Thanx, **Rick Kitchen** , don’t know some of the people you mentioned, but it’s good to learn. Was Pentatonix in the movie? I didn’t recognize them, but they are great indeed. Could you spoil this for me? Are they multiple overly-long vomit scenes? I really could have done without those in the first one. ---

I just saw it this afternoon, and as it was ending I thought “I liked this even better than the first one, if only because there was no vomit-based humor.”
