# Pithiest Mod Action Award

Not a criticism – in fact, sort of a compliment, but it belongs in the Pit as a critique of a Mod action:

I believe that **Giraffe** deserves an award for the Pithiest Moderator Action for [this post](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?p=8144130#post8144130) closing a thread. (See the OP there for why that was singularly appropriate.)

I know giraffes are noted for rarely making vocal calls, but geez! 😛
