Who gives a shit what your view settings are at, if you make no changes, it’s 46 pages. You must know the default setting is 50 posts per page so surely you can come to some sort of approximate number without having to post about it.

So she didn’t direct you to go look at page 12 or 46 yourself, she linked to the thread toward the end and named her link page 46. Putting the actual post number is helpful when someone is referring to a specific post, but she wasn’t; she was drawing attention to the huge length of the thread.
