# Pitting assholes who send e-mails in response to forum posts

I use a free webmail throwaway addy for all message board/chat room type stuff. I check it once or twice a week, unless I’m expecting something. That way, I’m there if anyone really wants to get a hold of me, but I don’t have to look at hate mail sandwiched in between a message from my boss and a forward from my aunt.

No one is saying you shouldn’t be pissed off. I mean, people who flame you by e-mail are jerks. The problem that I see is expecting the Board administration to involve itself in a non-Board matter.

Perhaps, although I think a pattern of such flaming warrants their involvement. It’s not reasonable to expect no “bad” mail whatsoever, but it’s reasonable to expect only a very small amount from any one person. Repeated flames via email equates harrassment, in my mind, and should be reported to the admins here.
