I wonder how ending the war on drugs would affect the disparity in racial criminality? If the only reason black folks are over represented are the drugs laws 1 of 2 things needs to happen: 1. Eliminate the war on drugs 2. Get the folks dealing/doing drugs to actually stop (ya know because it is against the law) ---

Yeah, when the rowdy college kids are black, they’re the few bad apples making the rest look bad. When the rowdy college kids aren’t black, they’re clearly just ‘kids being kids’ and not actually making trouble. Very clear and not racist at all. Nosirree, not at all. ---

Let me first apologize for my short and concise reply to your latest thread of the flavor [what if our problems with overusing the word’s resources aren’t so bad really and we can just solve them with magic](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/is-the-environment-worth-1-of-the-worlds-economy/971297)? It was rightfully mod noted as close to threadshitting and attacking the poster. It was perfectly accurate of course, but without the context of your pattern of posting like a disingenuous halfwit about the environment, that wouldn’t be apparent to the average reader. And of course dragging out evidence of your pattern of dimwittery would have been inappropriate in that forum anyway. Now if anyone wants some evidence they can just read the rest of the thread. Whether you were trolling with this ignorance about basic science, or are you genuinely this dumb, I have a hard time believing you didn’t know exactly what you were setting up with your OP. You’re a disingenuous, halfwit troll and I’m crossing my fingers you’ll reach modable levels sooner rather than later. In the mean time, enjoy the sincere replies from people more patient than me. And if you are not a disingenuous troll, spend some time reading those replies for comprehension, you might learn something. ---

I got so pissed off with this disingenuous nonsense that, although I avoided crossing the line in that thread, in the heat of the moment I reported the whole thread to be moved to the Pit on the basis that (a) the OP was dishonest about its real agenda, and (b) OP had not presented anything coherent enough for anyone else to express an opinion on. @engineer_comp_geek rightly shot me down, unfortunately (unlike GD) there are no standards in the rules for IMHO that the OP must advance a thesis for discussion in a coherent manner. Of course trolling is not allowed, but I don’t think it really rises to that level, although I think his OP here was blatantly dishonest.
