Who was the politician -I believe it was a politician- who mentioned a rise in sea levels if we removed all the boats? (Steven Wright comedically wondered how much deeper the ocean be if there were no sponges in it.) ---

I don’t know. But in a serious vein, we’re doing an excellent job of removing all the fish from the sea. Which will (slightly) lower sea level. So we’ve got that bit of anti-global warming mitigation going for us. 🙂 ---

I don’t think any of you have any idea why I was even pondering the question. I often ponder things that have to be just right for life to exist. If water were 25% more or less than it is life would be challenged. ---
