He is not that smart. It would be an Oscar worthy performance just to type and spell as well as **Martin**. His Confabulator takes up a lot of computer processing speed, so he will get back to us. Sometime in the early hours after most of the Mods have retired for the night. ---

The problem I have is that he has suddenly switched to making sense before. Suddenly he could form a coherent argument. I mentioned it up above. Others suggested what he said was still stupid. I agree the underlying idea was dumb. But, when he needed to defend himself, he was suddenly able to construct a logical argument. I could believe someone legitimately be as loopy as he often seems. I can believe someone with extreme gaps in their knowledge, due to thinking they are smarter than they actually are. I could even believe someone who lacked the introspection to notice his beliefs contradicted each other. But being able to turn it off when he thought it mattered? That tells me that his posting style is a shtick. ---

So very this. Just in recent posts, 90% is uncharacteristically coherent. Then, at the end, he sprinkles in a little of that false naïveté. It’s sealed the deal for me. I was on the fence about this for years, but no longer. ---
