I don’t know why he’s working so hard to dance around the idea that directing KKK imagery at a Black person isn’t specifically bad. Especially when he conceded that if it was specifically left just for one person out of a room of people, and that was the one Black person, it would be awful. I thought at that point he got it, but then he went back to the “well, it depends” angle. ---
