The two things that drum up sales the most are mass shootings for the advertising of how effective these weapons are, and mass shootings that allow predatory arms dealers like @pkbites to profit off of their fearmongering that guns will be banned because of all the mass shootings. To be fair, @pkbites isn’t nearly as motivated or industrious as his grandchildren, or he’d be selling guns outside of white supremacist rallies. ---

There’s lots of hunting in Canada, but the AR-15 and many similar weapons are _ **prohibited** _ and sale or possession is _ **a criminal offense** _ under federal law. Because you _ **don’t** _ need them for hunting. Although they’re apparently very effective for shooting children, because those are the types of guns that are always turning up at school shootings. They also turn up at many other kinds of mass shootings. I was at Cabela’s on Wednesday to pick up a trail camera and a stuffed dog toy for Pluto’s birthday, and there were very few customers at the gun and combat/hunting knife displays. This has, to my knowledge, never been about limiting mass shootings, but is intended to enforce fire discipline. If, after determining that your first shot injured the animal rather than kill it, you’ve used all your follow-up shots, you’ve botched the kill so hard reloading is not going to make much difference to the animal suffering for your choice of a hobby that doesn’t suit you. And if 30-40 wild boars run at you you should concentrate on running away. You’re not going to make much difference trying to take them all down semi-auto. /s (Warning! I mean, it only makes sense. Your grandchildren saw thirsty people and took steps to help them out, for a profit, of course. They didn’t make people go all the way to the store, they brought water to where the thirsty people were. There is an opportunity for you to help out people who are violent, for a profit, of course. You shouldn’t make them go all the way to your store, you should bring the guns to where the violent people are. You’d make a killing.
