Oh well. I’m sort of amused that whoever made those posts spends lots of time thinking about EXACTLY what gay men do with each other. It reminds me of some analysis of Howard Stern’s listeners back before he went to a subscription service, and it found that the people that thought he was disgusting and claimed to hate the show listened for twice as much time as the people that liked him. ---

My mom used to say stuff like that every now and then. She just came from a different era when people would say “The Chinese are …” or “The Indians don’t …” So I used to tell her all the time that it was really stereotyping and kind of borderline racist. She used to argue with me about it. Then about three years ago when we got on the phone she said “Beep, you need to stop building murder robots. But also, you’re right, what I was saying was racist, and I appreciate you helping me realize it.” My mom can grow up and realize that this way of thinking is stereotyping and kind of racist. Maybe you can too @pkbites. ---
