You lucky bastards! Down here I’m having to cope with everybody whinging at the ridiculously cold temps, gets down to as low as 17C during the day, brrrrr, wrap up well lads. Nobody going out at night, not at 7C, freeze the balls of… (Well the freezing point of brass is about 900C, which is quite warm really, but you get the point). P.S. Canberra officially recorded its lowest temperature at 55 Kelvin. ---

**L\_C** , that piss pot was Vanuatu, I can only handle the place a few weeks at a time, too little to do, too much kava to sup, (a drink that tastes even worse than **jjimm’s** little thirst quencher). Came to QLD to get back to civilization, (itself in short supply along with water and good pubs, here on the gold coast). ---

I’ve been seeing a lot of media bitching about how ‘hypocritical’ etc we Brits are for moaning about how poor the summers are then whining about the real heat as soon as it comes. **Clue for the clueless:** The people whinging about too little / too much heat are DIFFERENT SETS OF PEOPLE. Not the ‘same people’ at all. Count me in the ‘too much’ camp this week - I can’t stand the heat. But you’ll never hear me complaining about too little. I like it that way. Just when you think you’ve seen / read it all… **jjimm** , you are beyond disgusting and should probably be hanged for that remark! It’s lucky for you that the few remaining royalists aren’t the kind of minority that bitches and whines about ‘offence’. ---
