The comments on all the major message boards tonight are the most disgusting and racist I’ve ever seen. I wonder if they’d be cheering if Martin had killed Zimmerman, claimed self defense, and been acquitted. ---

The entire room here at the Republican event I’m working cheered loudly when the guy on stage announced the not guilty verdict. It truly left me wondering what it was about the verdict that made this partisan crowd cheer so loudly. Okay, I admit it didn’t take much wondering to come up with a plausible-seeming answer. ---

You don’t have to be racist to be Republican, but you do have to be Republican to be a racist. So a guy shoots an unarmed black teen to death and gets away with it. Every NRA member’s wet dream. ---
