I’ve not been too interested in participating in that thread, but I’m glad that you linked that question.

I’d say it turns into bigotry when it’s OPPOSITION to SOMEONE instead of opposition to SOMETHING.

It’s like Mr. Pratchett articulated, it starts with treating people as things.
