In the ATMB thread about the Pit, we get a good example of why it is necessary. Apparently, to UltraVile, discussing racism is an “intellectual dodge”. I’m glad UltraVires hasn’t had to deal with much racism, but to many people it is far more than an intellectual exercise. It is an everyday reality.
