Did us CMU geeks have that “holier than thou” reputation? That’s funny! I know a lot of people barely ventured off campus at all except to go the the Phibar. After all, what could be more interesting than the frat parties?
Given that Carnegie Mellon was sort of at the crossroads of Oakland, Shadyside, and Squirrel Hill, I spent a lot of time in those other places as well. I also worked in the Strip district for a while.
