From the comfort of your couch you can pick up the phone and 45 minutes have delivered a meat lover’s pizza, a dozen wings and a 2 liter coke. No matter what else is wrong with our country, this ability alone places it permanantly in the category of “a perfect society.” ---

Pineapple and olive pizza. Online ordering was invented so people like me could order pizza without all the incredulous looks. My reasoning is - I love Hawaiian pizza, but I’m vegetarian, so I need something salty to replace the ham or Canadian bacon. ---

My GF and I have a standing pizza date every Thursday. We’ve been trying to work our way down the menu. I finally convinced her of the virtues of Hawaiian. Actually, I didn’t. But hey, extra pineapple for me! ---

I can order pizza right from my TiVo. Ordering pizza with your TV remote is oddly satisfying. ---

I loves me a “SMOG mit”…sausage, fungus, onion, green pepper, green olives and banana peppers, double sauce, Chicago cut (square cut), thin crust. Da missus likes a Canadian bacon, pineapple and fungus combo. Northern Lights Pizza, a Des Moines chain that, TBTG, came to the KC metro area makes the best. And for chrissakes, please tip the delivery guy. ---
