As I posted in a previous thread, I’m generally not one for strange pizza variations. However, there are two exceptions: Pizza Hut’s Buffalo Chicken Pizza–I only wish they had it all the time. The other came from my old college hangout, **The Road House** in Staten Island. They made a pizza with double cheese, oodles of fresh garlic and, instead of the red sauce… …wait for it… WHITE CLAM SAUCE!!! I swear, it was the most incredible thing I’ve ever eaten! And, to this day, more than thirty years later, I’ve never seen another place that makes it anywhere! ---

Green peppers, onions and mushrooms. That’s how I always order any pizza if the store allows me total freedom in toppings. I suspect I’d love the taste of sausage on pizza if it were Kosher. ---

I recommend that you visit New Haven sometime, where you can visit [Pepe’s](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Pepe_Pizzeria_Napoletana) and have a white clam pizza. ---

Amici’s East Coast Pizzeria makes one called the “New Haven White Clam Pizza”. I’ve been leery of such a thing, but if you can vouch that it’s good, I might just try it next time. ---

French bread pizza, homemade, with pepperoni, sausage and tons of cheese. No sauce. That’s my idea of perfection. ---

Spicy pepperoni, bell pepper, tomato, cheese, and maybe jalapeno, on tomato sauce. With Papa John’s garlic dipping sauce. I am so hungry. Or Chicken, bacon, and pineapple on bbq sauce. Or pepperoni and pineapple. Or a really good hot plain cheese. Or a sauce-stuffed crust - one of those frozen cheese pizzas, doctored up with pepperoni. Excuse me, I need to go eat dinner. ---

Pizza: not only a perfect but an ancient food. For thousands of years, mankind has been eating things on flatbread. Extra toppings are a sign that you are morally questionable. Question my morals all you like: I like my pizza like my friend Brian likes his women: as long as something’s there, I’m all over it. Thin crust, normal crust, deep dish, super Chicago dish. Pepperoni and mushrooms and oregano. Four cheese. Supreme. Fresh pizza is best, but in a pinch I’ll call a crappy chain and get greasy bread in a box with extra grease cheese and greasy discs of greasy meat on top. If I love myself I will have a Real Pizza with basil and roasted garlic. Mmm. ---

Thanks to this post, I am now aware that pizza cut into SQUARES is called Chicago Cut Pizza! I didn’t know there was an actual name for this. Pizza TRIANGLES aren’t nearly as good! Where is the cracker-crust thin square cut pizza of my dreams??? Dopers, are there any pizza joints in Chicago that DELIVER this specific type of pizza to faraway places like Alaska? That I could order from, online??? That would be my BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER 😃 ---
