I just noticed that both **Guinistasia** and **tracer** are somewhere in the realm of just over 9,000 posts. I don’t know if any other Dopers have reached that number or higher yet, but congrats to all who’ve gotten that high. You humble those of us who’re still in the \>1K zone. Which raises the question: which Doper will reach 10,000 posts first? (If somebody already has, my question is ruined…sob!) And how should we celebrate? Should I make advance reservations at the Sizzler? ---

…and I misspelled **Guinastasia** ’s name AND didn’t properly bold **tracer** ’s name. I’m gonna put on a hairshirt and go whip myself silly. ---

There was a point where I was WAY ahead of Guin, and was catching up to Tracer. But, alas, the Board seems to turn against me and decides to slow down whenever I try to load my third thread… ---

_[Hamster Room of the SDMB. The boards begin creaking and shaking. Plaster begins to fall. The hamsters have worried expression on their faces. **Arnold Winkelried** runs out into the room, screaming and gesticulating wildly.]_ **Arnold** : Sweet Baby Jesus at a barbecue on a moped! The combined posts of **handy** , **tracer** , **SPOOFE** and **Guinistasia** have compressed into a massive black hole! We’re all gonna diiiiiiieee! _[Hamsters begin to panic. Board begins to stretch and clocks slow down noticeably. **Lodrain** strolls in nonchalantly.]_ **Lodrain** : Worry not, O Administrator, for there is a solution! **Arnold** : What? WHAAAAT? TELL ME, STRANGE LITTLE BOY! **Lodrain** : (Pulls complicated-looking device out of pocket and holds it high. A beam of light catches it at the right dramatic angle.) _THE POPEIL DEUS EX MACHINA TRAVEL GAME AND ELECTRIC BEARD TRIMMER!_ _[**Arnold** looks on in astonishment. **Lodrain** pushes the big red button dramatically. Device begins to emit visible pulsing waves and makes funny noises as well.]_ _[Cut to somewhere else in the Boards. **SPOOFE** , **handy** , **Guinistasia** and **tracer** are square dancing. There is noticable space-time dragging. Big stereo shuts down. The four stop.]_ **Guinistasia** : Hey! What the heck happened to the music? **tracer** : Aw, I’m tired anyways. c’mon, guys, let’s go do something more productive, like suck the entire world supply of popsicle sticks into a chipper to make a cheap substitute for Metamucil. **Guinistasia** : It’s good to be regular. _[Pan back to Hamster Room. **Lodrain** is beaming. **Arnold** is dumbstruck and regards **Lodrain** with undiluted awe.]_ **Lodrain** : Now, remember, kiddies - black holes are enormous amounts of matter compressed into a point of infinitesimal dimensions.
