Plame Court Action Denied

Iraq sought significant of ammount of uranium from Niger. That’s pretty close to a fact. They were shopping, they had high ranking people there. That is verifiable. We had Joe Wilson there, and he almost certainly knew about it. Once again that has to be close to fact. Your references siad the same thing, and so did mine. Not to mince words here, but all the arguments seem to agree that Iraq went shopping.

Yes, well, that’s because, based on his personal history, the idea that Wilson might have had a personal hard-on for the Republican Party or the Bush Admin is really not very plausible.

Don’t count your chickens. A lot more tax money will be spent on this matter before it is done – and even more on the Iraq War itself.

Cite? And I mean a cite that they bought, not that they sought.

Sought. Went shopping. That was the Bush quote with out the “British intelligence said” in front. Fact.

That is not what I see, my basic point is that you are swallowing hook line an sinker the spin of the Republicans, from a fellow that protests or mentions Republicans are supposed to be held in contempt too, you are always relying on their news as the gospel. The second problem is that you are still then repeating information that was debunked and false, bad enough that your information is coming from biased cites, worst that you claim you don’t trust any side, worseX10 when they do not have the facts with them: see the next item.

Glad you mention Iraq, it is now costing more than a half a trillion dollars of our money, Bush and company did that to Plame to silence descent in that regard. And their efforts continue to make sure our money goes into the Iraq sinkhole. And you are sounding silly when you mention once again the lie that Plame made Wilson go.

When you stand up to minimize what did happen here, you are minimizing that it is not Plame who Iraq should sue.

And what was the failure of Wilson again?

Drivel.

mediamatters? A Sorros organization? It seems that your sources are tainted. I stayed mainstream this time and you pull out the reactionary cite.

What is next? The official Iraq press releases of the day? Iraqi Minister of defense reports support your case, don’t they?

Oops. I meant the Minister of Information. He’s on your side.

Did you bother to check what they are citing? And let me guess: where did you get the idea that it is a Soros outfit? You will need a cite for that or we just conclude that your assertions that you have conservative sources in contempt are also a smoke screen.

It has been O’Reilly and other blow hards at Fox who came with the “Media Matters as a Soros outfit” canard so, thanks for proving my point.

Yeah, but Soros spelled backwards is…Soros! Didn’t think of that, did you, Baghdad Bob!

So CNN, the Washington Post, congressional reports are coming from Iraq? Well, since it was reported the Bush Administration approved the planting of false news in Iraq for propaganda purposes I guess it would not be surprising. (Guess who is paying for that too?)

Incidentally this last insulting tirade of yours is demonstrated to sound silly after you did say “your sources are tainted” I only need to point out that I used also Slate to contradict Hitchens.

So tell me: Is Slate tainted or not? (think very carefully before you answer)

In an attempt to not get too far off the subject or in the BBQ…

Should government officials be immune to lawsuits that interfere with thier jobs?

Should most the libs be put in jail for spreading propaganda that poeple who have declared war on us want them to?

Think carefully. In a couple of years it will be your turn in the barrell.

Ah yes, translation: “I can not reply to what you posted.” And the other post has nothing to do with the OP.

And don’t you even think that I missed what are you referring here. You really need to take it to the pit if you continue.

Sooo … Start a topic on bedwetting. Do we have the right in this country to aide the opposing side in a war? Apparently so. Jane Fonda and Kerry did it. The one and only original function of the federal government was war. The rest has been added to the continous bloat of government’s rights that the people used to have. Does Kerry and Karl Rove go to jail, or do you fuel the government engine? I say jail, you say to add another patch, reguation or social experimentation.

Nevertheless, Hitchens is more of a cite than “a very knowledgable emailer” is in this thread, which you defended in post # 92:

http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=8772191&postcount=9

Why is that? Because you agree with “emailer”, but not Hitchens? At least you’re consistent in your bias.

Feh, that cite was taken care by the same “tainted” source.
