Do you guys drink cold coffee? You don’t need much of a stir in hot coffee. I don’t even use a stirrer, although I only add cream to mine. But even sugar dissolves very easily in properly hot coffee.

Yeah, but you can’t get the coffee moving when it’s hot, because the heat softens the stirrer so much. It’s like applying torque with a cooked noodle.
