The original phrase is “buck naked” and appears in print in English in 1928. “Butt nekid” may be acceptable in today’s world, but it weren’t the original.

And, from what I know as an outside observer, Hef has relinquished control to his daughter, who made the decision some time ago to compete with more intimate shots.

Speaking of Playboy showing more bits…I like it. New Playboys are similar to old Penyhouses, before every shot the woman was bending over, spreading something, or sticking something in.

At least they haven’t copied the letters…

Hef handed over control of the business side of the corporation to Christie back in the late 80s, and apparently after the stroke and the breakup with Kimberly Conrad in the 90s relinquished most operational duties – he still greenlights the Playmate, tho’ … too bad he has a thing for template-produced big-boob blondes (as can be attested by anyone who has seen his _seven_ live-in girlfriends…[sub] :😭: I want his life…::sniff::[/sub])

The Women of the Straight Dope… it sings, y’ know…
