The photos will indicate that I was exaggerating a bit about the 3 million TVs. I’ve been in plenty of noisy joints, and plenty of sports bars during the big game. This one was wayyy over the top. And the friends had not been there before. mmm ---

You need the noise because when it gets quiet that’s when the party stops. ---

A lot of places where I’ve seen TVs had the volume pretty low (or even off) with Closed Captioning on. If they want sound, they pipe in music, but a volume you can easily talk over, to the point that you won’t notice it. I do know a place that has the acoustics set up where the whole restaurant is incredibly loud, though. I took to wearing earplugs there back when noise was really bothering me. ---

I’ve yet to see a place that let’s you order an entrée. Also it seems like you can’t actually order anything until a service activates, which they don’t do until they take your order. :dubious: Since I seldom order dessert I’ve ever actually used one to order anything. I vote with my wallet and just go to the local, less crowded places. At one point Sheetz had terminals outside so you could order food right from the gas pumps, but they got rid of them several years ago for some reason.
