This was a helluva effort for very little return, given how few votes were cast overall, I’m afraid. I will probably sit the next one out, but thanks anyway. ---

Please forgive the double post - I’ve just consulted with the Mods, who have given their permission to run another one. Yay! What I propose is that after the current Poetry Sweatshop closes, I’ll start a Logistics Thread for a September Flash Fiction contest in early September, aiming for that weekend of the 12th - 14th. And this is as good a place as any to mention the Poetry Sweatshops to any of the short fiction writers who might want to give poetry a try. There is a lot of crossover between the two, and I’m hoping maybe some of you who were interested in this thread would be interested in the Poetry Sweatshops as well. Till September, authors! ---
