My wife just finished a fleece poncho for our 3yo daughter. She looks positively adorable in it. And it’s not bad on our little girl either! 😉 Uh, sorry about that. Really, it looks great on her, and the shade of blue in the fleece just brings out the blue in my daughter’s eyes. Gorgeous. ---

I utterly despise ponchos. Unless they’re plastic, and you’re using them to keep dry in a rainstorm while hiking in the mountains with a heavy pack. Then they’re great! ---

I was just in the Detroit Metro airport this evening and saw a turtleneck poncho on a gal and it looked excellent. I’m still not convinced that they look good on most people over the age of 6, though. ---

But how do you guys _really_ feel about ponchos? 😃 I bought one of the thinner ones to wear in the movies. My daughter told me it looked like I was wearing a doily. I hate it when she is right. [teeny tiny hijack] Now shawls — I love. [end teeny tiny hijack] ---
