# Please don't close the crazy threads so fast.

How about a new forum? We could call it “The Nuthouse” or something similar. Move the crazy into it and let all all have fun with the pile-on?

We don’t get that many truly loopy threads. If they are just cranks, it’s just as well to leave them in Great Debates or the Pit. As I said above, threads by people who are pretty clearly mentally ill are generally either closed of moved out of sight as a matter of propriety. As someone who has had several family members afflicted by mental illness, I don’t think ridiculing such people is appropriate form of entertainment.
