For the record, I meant that to read: “Crap! Gotta find my family! Gotta save the president! Gotta… take… a… little… nappie…zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…Crap!” The visual would be simulating someone zipping around, and then suddenly being overcome by the evil aliens of Planet Molasses (“Must make Lorne Greene Battlestar Galactica pose…best…death…ever…”). ---

Collies, huh? Did I miss something? So Knead, how do you like your new DVD? I’ve found most everything, but was getting pretty durned tired last night. I did find the chronological version on disk two, which is all a really care about at the moment. ---

I watched the first 1:05 of the chronological version. I was a little disappointed that it’s not actually cut together in chrono order but is just a straight-through version shot through with redirect commands to make it jump around in order, resulting in some odd glimpses of the wrong timeline between shifts. What the hell, it’s better than having to do it myself. 🙂 _Much_ more annoying is the lack of chapter stops and the disabled FF and REW functions. I can almost hear Nolan chuckling: “You want this in chronological order, you sniveling worms … you got it!” It sure makes watching it a commitment. Though I did discover that you can jump straight to a time, if your player supports that. You mean I’m going to have to read my DVD player’s instructions to figure out how to enter in a time code?!? Son of a bitch!!! But I think everyone should be forced to go through all the cards before using a cheatsheet. I feel like I’ve earned it. ---

I finished watching it last night. They also left out the opening credits (with the Polaroid developing in reverse). I was really execting to see that run in reverse, since that’s how they did the closing credits. But, it’s just a novelty, so I can’t ask too much. 🙂 I do know how you feel about earning it for yourself, though. I don’t plan to use the cheat sheets much until I’ve played around in it more. I just wanted to get right to the chrono version Tuesday night. Hey, this morning’s the last morning I’ll ever wake up a virgin. A _24_ virgin, that is. 😉 ---
