I thought changing districts was a desperation move- but it worked! She’ll have a whole new set of constituents to dismay. I wonder who suggested the strategy for her? That person will go on my “graves to piss on” list. ---

She likely would have had no problem getting renominated in her old district. But she came within a hair of losing the general election in her red-but-not-deep-red district. Her switch gives her a deeper red district to run in and gives Republicans a better shot at holding her old district with a Republican not named Boebert. Ended up being a pretty smart strategy all around. ---
