Rep. Ken Buck – who had already announced he’s retiring and whose seat Boebert is running for – announced today he’s going to resign from Congress at the end of next week. That means there will need to be a special election to fill the remainder of his term, as well as the primary and general election for the next term. I don’t know enough about Colorado special elections law to say whether this helps or hurts Boebert, but the great news is this leaves House Republicans down a member for a while.
