New TV show: Celebrity Shunning

Each week, someone from the world of entertainment is chosen to be completely shunned; no TV appearances, no movie promotions, no concerts, no sponsorships, no book signings, no magazine articles, nothing.

After one month, random people on the street are asked if they can identify the shunned celebrity and what he/she is famous for. If more than 50% successfully identify the shunned celebrity, he/she is allowed to return to the spotlight. If more than 50% fail to do so, however, that celebrity is declared ‘irrelevant’ and is abandoned to mists of obscurity.

I’d watch.
