Bah, the viperfish and goblin shark pale beside the kraken. Myth you say? We can discern this by the fact that they measure less than 60 feet from the tip of the 2 long tentacles to the end of their cones. Note also that the last link is to the mesonychoteuthis. The mesonychoteuthis is bigger and meaner. Itā€™s tentacles are equipped with swivelling hooks rather than suction disks. ---
