# Please Help (M&M Candy Shell)

I was wondering, using items i could find in a grocery store, what would be the best thing i could use to make a candy shell for home made M&Ms?

[A mixture of sugar and corn syrup](http://www.straightdope.com/classics/a3_118.html), apparently. I might add some food colouring too. If you can’t find those at your grocery store, you’re not from my planet.
