Hi All The song thats bugging me is the one that is being played in the background of the new saturn commerical, the one that starts out showing an impatiant middle aged guy driving.And first he passes a truck towing a trailer then he notices a car trying to pass him.He floors the gas to try to outrun it without success. In the final scenes it shows him pulling over,getting out of his car and screaming at the other car as it goes past. Then it cuts to the inside of the other car, the driver asking the passanger “whats his problem” The song is from the mid 60’s hard rock and was done by group from the west coast( IIRC ) I think that somewhere in the song is the lyric “Plastic Man” but I am not positive of that. The song is “Pictures of Matchstick Men.” I don’t recall the original artist, but Camper Van Beethoven did a nice version of it on the “Key Lime Pie” album. ---

My daughter claims that if you sing “The Bear Went Over the Mountain” it will drive any other song out of you head, but will not get you stuck on itself. I have to admit it worked for me a couple times, banishing even such standbys as “Ding Dong the Witch is Dead”. Worth a try.
