There’s a guy who’s been cursed, so that part(all?) of him is always shapeshifting randomly into some other creature: a dog, as spider leg, ect. I was going to try and write a story about this but I’m sure it’s not an idea I had but a character I read somewhere.

Anyone have any idea who I’m thinking of? Not a lot to go on, I know.

In the Thieves’ World series, one of the wizards (IIRC) was cursed with random shape-shifting. He was able to go out on the street on occasion when he cycled to a form not too far from human.

I was going to suggest Morpheus from _The Lord of the Crooked Paths_. But **DrFidelius** had a better answer.

The above is probably correct, but there’s also [The Oddity](http://www.wildcardsonline.com/characters-o.html) from the Wild Cards series. It’s three lovers merged into one being, and its body parts are constantly moving and shifting.

I don’t know that I’ve ever read a Thieves World book, yet that sounds exactly like it. Odd. Thank you.
